Information Technology Manager        Streimer        Portland

Our IT Manager works with our Managed Service Provider as the single point of contact and manages all company IT projects, assets, related expenses and acts as an advocate for employee IT needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), including reviewing and working with the MSP and Streimer staff to resolve open tickets. Provide in-house hardware / software support as necessary. Provide application troubleshooting and support services, specifically Sage, Crystal Reports, Report Runner, Microsoft Access, Advanced Excel Spreadsheet Development and Power BI. Manage Employee Access to Network Resources and Application Specific Security Profiles. Manage IT project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs. Provide strategic direction for our IT needs including new technologies; and evaluate and make recommendations on hardware and software procurement as needed to achieve business goals. Oversee the setup and deployment of IT assets and maintain and track IT-related inventory in our HR database. Develop, deploy, maintain, and train on IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Develop an annual budget, track expenses for all IT-related expenditures, and ensure all costs are job costed appropriately. Manage the Mobile Data Management system (MaaS360) for mobile devices, including creating and enforcing security policies. Manage the Comcast relationship and deploy desk phones as necessary. Manage the relationships with Cellular partners including ordering and deployment. Manage the relationship and lease agreements with our printer / copier vendor. Manage the relationship with computer hardware / software vendors including ordering and deployment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience providing broad strategic and hands-on IT-related support, preferably in a construction and/or manufacturing business. Effective at leading and managing IT projects across various technologies and overseeing service providers. Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations. Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, cloud storage solutions, VOIP systems, and a broad range of software applications (e.g., Office 365, Sage, Power BI, SharePoint, Egnyte, Bluebeam, AutoCAD). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Access databases and ODBC connections. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience creating and managing IT-related budgets; and managing IT assets. Understanding of job costing. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to explain technical details to non-technical people. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements is desired. Knowledge of SQL is a plus. Ability to occasionally travel to remote locations as needed.
